Nice Cougar, lousy presentation. There are so many exceptional things at that car but that dude does not see any of it. He is pointing to things my mother would see at a lance and I was waiting the whole video that he was telling us that there are four wheels (!!!) at that car. What a shame.
@piffwhat89 The 302 was available in 68, but I’m not sure if this is the original engine or not. It’s obviously had a lot of performance parts added to it.
very nice! my grandpa has a 1968 xr7g 2 restore an all orignal rims n switchs but i was wondering if the 302 boss is orignal 2 the car?
@JET997u Thanks for checking it out. That one sold pretty quick. It was a real nice one for sure.
Sweetheart of a car. Nice.

@HoopDreamer3000 I’m afraid I don’t have any info on the color code. That particular car has already found a new home. That green sure does look great on there though. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful car, is that a factory color? If so any info on color code. I am really a fan of that color combo it just WORKS!

@propilotc182 That’s awesome that you went down and bought this car. It really is a great looking cougar. Sounds like you have a few things left to do, but it’s definitely a good place to start. This is one car that the green looks great on….it just seems to fit. I would have chosen this car over the Torino as well.
Also, the only gauges that work are the speedo, tach, and gas gauge. The others don’t. Still have to get the dash apart, and check. I also got some paperwork from the previous owner, that shows a LOT of work done to the car in ‘04. Engine was rebuilt, new vinyl roof, headliner, steering components, the receipt to the Carb, and intake, etc. There was even a Marti report in there! What you can’t see in the trunk, is the A/C components that was taken off. Have to put that back on!
I also wanted to say that I’m not a fan of green at all, but you are right, this dark shade does grow on you after a while! If it wasn’t for the black vinyl roof, I don’t think I’d like the color. The roof sets it off nicely! The car does have some problems, speedo is way off thanks to the bigger tires, and it has a 351 WIndsor Cam in the engine! I found that out by the timing order. Timing was way off, but got it running good now. Put on nice blue spark plug wires, matches the engine!
I wanted to let you know that I bought this car! I have some videos of the taillights on my page, as I’m trying to put in LED lights. Because of your video, we went down to Country Classic Cars, and looked at it. My wife originally wanted the ‘70 Torino GT, but after looking at the Cougar, we fell in love with it! Even though you can’t see it in your video, it does have the Ford 9 inch, and the ratio is 3:00-1. Keep the video on here, as I show people this who can’t see the car! John
@bbo40 Glad it brought back some memories………thanks for checking it out.
My first car was a 68. Nice car and a look down memory lane.
One beautiful car! The green will grow on you. I had a 54 Chevy that was the same color and I was going to repaint it. I never did, after a few days I got to really like it!
Wow this car went thru some major changes throughout the years. I totaled my parents brand new 81. Wasn’t my fault, but I’ll never forget it ha!
My father had one when I was a child. Nice car!!
One day i will own one of those bad boys!
Man, I could watch videos of these muscle cars all way. That’s a badass color too.
I use to like the Eliminator Series all the rich kids had them :P
